WAR ON BRIGANDS
FRENCH EXPEDITION. A,,Y-> LANDS IN CORSICA. o'% (United Press Association.—Fy Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) AJACCIO, November 9. Following on the brigand Bartoli'i death, an expedition \of six hundred gendarmes, ten armoured cars, and a pack of bloodhounds arrived here on Sunday from Marseilles, finally to e.\- , tricate the brigands from the mountains who are estimated to number 30, leaders, and pdrhaps two hundred others. The expedition is in charge of General Fornier, who is also provided with small naval patrol boats, which are cruising the coast to prevent the outlaws from leaving.
