FRENCH VOTE

The French Government vote ot £240.000 for French national sports development represents the biggest windfall sport has ever received from the Government.
M. Laval explained that most of the money would be applied to the provision (,f sports grounds throughout the country. Cabinet already includes an Under Secretary of Physical Education, whose duty is the encouragement of sports of all kinds.
