The '“Mail’s” Paris correspondent says Germany’s’inability to . repay 370 million ‘sterling of frozen ‘ credits of the Young Plan payments has been advanced to France, Britain and United States, and'was stressed by the German Ambassador, in a lengthy conference with M. Laval who indicated that France was willing, after , referring to the Allies, to reduce the reparations in proportion that the United States Congress might be willing to scale down the war debts. He added that this does not affect France’s claim for unconditional annuities, though the payments thereof may be postponed, if satisfactory guarantees are forthcoming from Germany.
