The “Daily Telegraph’? political correspondent says:—The division of the Cabinet seats is f likely to he: Twelve Conservatives, four National Labour, and four National Liberal. Mr MacDonald consults Mr Baldwin and Sir H. Samuel in this connection to-day. All three are known to be desirous that the Cabinet should be truly National, but at the same time, constitute an efficient team.. Lord Sankey, Mr Snowden, and Mr Thomas are expected to be the other Labour representatives, while Lord • Hailsham, in a non-legal .post, is likely to join the Conservatives already _in office. Sir lan McPherson is among the Liberal Nationalists who may be offered office. The ' “Daily • Herald’s” political writer asserts.. that Mr. MacDonald’s difficulty is as to who to leave out. It isays that if Mr Churchill, Mr Atnery, r.ud Sir. R. Hpa're-«at'e not included, (there will be ’always the danger of : tlieir leading a. revolt of the. bnck'benchers, as the overwhelming major.
