ALFONSO’S- SENTENCE
(United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) ‘
(Received this day at 9.25 a.m)
MADRID, October 50
A “guilty committee’ is practically trying ex-Iving Alfonso. It is understood it discussed the death sentence, but since his execution has been eliminated under Spain's new code, Alionso may futilelv be sentenced for life. A similar fate seemingly awaits members of the first military dictatorship who were given four days to prepare their defence.
