Nevertheless competition was good within restricted limits and three-year-old steers appeared to be more reasonable than two-year-olds Three-vear-okl Hereford sheers realised from £5 15s to £7 15s apiece, black and white three-year-olds from £5 to £5 10s. Two-year-old Hereford steers from £5 to £6 lCs each, forward heifers from £4 10s to £5 and fat cows from £4 to £7 2s 6d. A pdn of shorn fat wethers rea’ised 14s. Okuru, 10 three-year-old steers at £7 7s 6d. 8 medium 3-vear-old steers, at £6 15s, 4 black and white three-year-old steers at £5 2s 6d. 10 fat hei~ers from £5 15s to £6. 10 forward heifers from £1- 15s to £5 12s 6d.
