Tin- Cud arrived to-day at mm o'clock from Bruce Bay and sails to-morrow night for Nelson. Tlie West Coast Fire Brigade’s Conference takes place this evening at the Westport Fire Brigade Station. Foreman Williams (.M.kitika), the President, will preside, and the other inein)ers of the Executive are: Vice-Presi-dents 0. McEnaney (liunuvra), J. ikeats (Oobden), C. Callaghan (Westport ; Trustee, Deputv-Supt. A. White: Secretary, Vlr Walton iCreymonth). At the meeting the drawing for plaee s and the selecting of timekeepers for the Demonstration, also judges, will take place, while after a lot of general business the -lection of officers for the incoming year will be conducted. The demonstration takes place tomorrow.
