COMMISSION OF INQUIRY
WELLINGTON CITY AFFAIRS. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 30. The personnel of the commission to inquire into the administration of the Wellington City is: —H. E. Mjorton of Melbourne (engineer), and H. D. Vickery of Wellington (accountant). The commission is given power to co_ operate with another expert if necessary. The cost of the commission is estimated at £ISOO. The, commission will inquire into every branch of the Council’s activities in all departments, and report to the Council on economies consistent with efficiency. The Town Clerk, E. P. Norman is secretary’of th e commission.
