POLITICS AND RELIGION. MELBOURNE. October 25. During an address broadcast from the Wesley Church, the Rev. T. C. Rontoul was commenting on 'Australian political affairs, including the appointment of Sir Isaac Isaacs as GovernorGeneral, when 3LO officials "applied the gag.” Mr Rentoul said: "People at Home regard Sir Isaac Isaacs’s appointment as an insult to the King. We must; try to remedy it as soon as we get a change of Government.’ PH‘At this point the broadcast was stopped.
