OPENS TO WELLINGTON. 'By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WEIjLINETON,.October 27. Five eases, including that in which George Errol] Coates is charged with the murder of the girl Symonds, were presented for consideration by the Grand Jury when the criminal session of the Supreme Court opened to day before Justice MacGregor. True bills were returned in each instance. In addressing the Grand Jury, His Honour remarked’’ there were not many cases for this criminal sitting of the year but he was hound to say the cases, few as they were, would take gome time to try, more especially the indictment against Coates. The cases include one of alleged arson hv a farmer, also alleged conspiracy to defraud a bookmaker.
