SUSPENSION BRIDGE
LARGEST SPAN IX THE WORLD. (United Press Association. —By .Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, October 24. The George Washington Bridge, raid to be the largest suspension span in the world, and which is 4760 feet between anchorages, was opened torn, v across the Hudson river between Xew Jersey and New York City. The bridge too 1 ; thirty months to build, and 4000 men were employed. The cost was sixty million dollars, which will be recovered from toils.
