SAVINGS BANK
PUBLIC MEETING REQUEST. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, October 27. Representatives of all sections of the community, at an enthusiastic meeting which packed the Town Hall, demanded that the Commonwealth Government should come to the assistance of the Government Savings Bank depositors, with mote issue. Archbishop Kelly and Bishop Darcy Irvine made strong appeals to the Commonwealth. Bank Board to aid necessitous depositors.
