MOTOR BOAT CLUB
RACES AT LAKE'KANIERI. The Club held successful races at Lake Kanieri yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance along the lake side. The weather was cloudy and threatening. Westland Handicap Race, for the Mclntosh Challenge Cup (j heats). Ist Heat.—Checkmate (F G.ardym) 1, Alerry Aloments (F. Andrews) 2, Happy Aloments (F. Andrews) 3, Buzz Off (C. Collver) 4. Wasp (L. Gooch) 5. Doubtful Moments (F. Andrews) and Pit-a-pat (J. N.
