150 LIVES LOST
INDIAN FLOOD DISASTER. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) GULCUTTA, October 22. Two thousand have been rendered homeless by the floods at Vizagapta-m, where the water has reached a height of thirty feet. It is conservatively estimated that 150 have been drowned. There are appalling stories of the damage and starvation, which have excited the deepest sympathy throughout India.
