(Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, October 21. New South Wales Government Savings Bank Commissioners have da puted the vice-president to enter a conference with Sir Robert Gibson. Chairman of the Commonwealth Bank to discuss alternatively financial assistance for the . original depositors ol the State Savings Bank and a mergei with the Commonwealth Bank. The Commonwealth have issued <> statement showing that between September 9 when the State Bank re-open-ed and October 20. the deposits in t» fc new business division totalled £I,IIL--371 since when th© withdrawals have amounted to £451,218, leaving £660,. 153 in credit on behalf of 68,082 depositors. .
