AIRMAN WINS CASE
HEIGHT OF MACHINE QUESTIONED. WANGANUI, October 19. Captain Leslie Harold Brake, who successfully defended a. case a few months ago when he was charged with plying for hire with an aeroplane at Castlecliff beach on Sunday, was 'before Court to-day charged with trick or exhibiton flying over the. city on August 22, during the Collegiate School sports. Brake defended bis own case and stated that at the time he> did a loop with, a passenger be was at an altitude of 3001) feet and not over the College grounds at all, but over open fields in the Springvale area. He pointed out that it was very difficult to judge the position of an aeroplane when it was flying high. The information was dismissed.
