Hope Ims been definitely abandoned of the safety of the Japanese freighter “Yonan Maru” of seven thousand tons, bound from Portland to Japan, with a crew of forty-five. She wirelessed that she was sinking near the Aleutian Islands on Saturday. Searching steamers have returned after finding no trace of her. _____
