DOAIIXION GLIDING. (By '' Telegraph—Per Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, October 19. At a meeting of delegates of the Dominion Gliding Clubs it was decided to form an Association to control griding in the Dominion with headquarters at Dannevirke. The first twelve month’s officers are : Ration : Lord Bledisloe. President : The Director of Air Services. VicePresident : Sir Francis Boys, Sir -Henry Wigrarn (Christchurch), Sir - Cecil Leys (Auckland), M. H. Oram (Palmerston North). The affiliation is is 6d per member and the minimum £2 2s per Club. INCREASED BEER DUTY. WELLINGTON, October 18.

Dr. Boag suffered only cuts and bruises. He was on his way to visit friends in Selwyn. Dr. Boag stated, later, that the accident was not a crash. It was due to a heavy-landing caused by tricky air currents.-The engine is said to he undamaged. The plane has been taken to Christchurch on a lorry.
