A conference of executives of the National Association.'and the , All For Australia League, agreed to conduct the - next elections as a united force. The whole of anti-extremist parties in the State will now be linked, up with the new political party, however, as the United Australia Party. UNEMPLOYMENT IMPROVING. CANBERRA, October 17. In the opinion of the acting Commonwealth statistician, Professor Gibinn, there is ground for believing that bedrock lias been reached in unemployment in Australia and that the next quarter the statistics will show a small but definite improvement, provided there is not a further collapse overseas.
