N.Z. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY A. J. SHAW. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, October 16. A. J. Shaw won the open golf championship of New Zealand to-day with an aggregate of 287. K. M. Macfarlane was second, with 288. The weather was beautifully fine, with a light north-east breeze and the standard ,of play, especially in the afternoon, was very high, and probably belter than on the opening day.
