UNITED STATES ACCEPTS
TO SIT WITH LEAGUE. (.United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ] (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) WASHINGTON, October 16. United States has accepted the League of Nations invitation to sit with tho League in efforts to prevent war, in solar as tho Kellog-Briand Pact is involved. While United States has refrained from referring to the trouble as war, and has not invoked the Kellogg-Briand Pact it has indicated it is ready to do so if the situation warrants.
