FIFTEEN CHARGES ADJOURNED. (By Telegraph—Per Press Associationj AUCKLAND, October 15. To enable counsel to consult legal references in respect of one of the charges, the Magistrate adjourned until to-morrow the charges against fifteen men arising out of the anti-evic-tion activities. THEFT OF £275. . DUNEDIN, October 16. Kenndth MjjiGillivray, -on a charge of theft of £275 sterling belonging to Shell Oil Coy. pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence. It was stated that accused was the Company's cashier and the defalcations arose from the payment of Government or local body vouchers. Restitution had been made from accused’s own money -in the provident fund.
