AUSTIN CASE DECISION. RESERVED. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 15. \ The'Appeal Court to-day reserved its decision in the case Austin v. Austin. .RAILWAY BRIDGE AFIRE. - AUCKLAND, October 15., One span of the railway bridge at Top uni, near Wellsford, was consideiably damaged by fith to-night. The cause is not known. Some delay was caused to train traffic, passengers havmg to be conveyed fourteen miles by roa d. MOVIE WORKERS’ WAGES. WELLINGTON. October 15. The Arbitration Court to-day heard claims for a new award governing the Wellington Motion Picture Projectionists’ Union. Mr J- Head, appealing for the Union, said the bulk of the dispute had been settled. The main question for the Court was that of wages, which were based on the award rates operatrtg at present in Australia. Air AY. J. Alountjoy, on behalf of the employers, opposed the claims for increased wages. The cas 6 is proceeding.
