Hindu thrift was shown at the Magistrate’s Court this morning, when <* Hindu ipkiintiff and witnesses were asked w]iat the l)us fare from Kakatahi, a distance of twenty miles, was. The Hindu replied that he and party walked to save the fare. One was, nineteen years of age and had already saved £2oo' througu gorse-grubbing and working for fanners.
