A BIG FIRE
ROYAL HOTEL, RAGLAN, (By Telegraph—Per Frets Association) HAMILTON, October 7. The Royal Hotel at Raglan was completely destroyed by fire in th e early hours’ this morning. The building was a two storey structure of 24 rooms. The proprietor. B. Penney, wife and family, and staff escaped, nothing being saved. A bucket brigade could make little headway against the conflagration. Insurances £4OOO on building and contents.
