TROUBLE AT SHANGHAI. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) SHANGHAI, October 6. Sjx Japanese destroyers have arrived here. Their arrival being coupled with rumours of a Japanese intention to occupy Chinese district's in Shanghai and forcibly suppress the anti-Jap.'inese movement, spread a panic among Chinese residing outside the foreign settlement. Thousands evacuated overnight, and are continuing to-day. The Japanese Minister, Shigemitsu, reported that he had received instructions to warn China concerning the spreading of hostile .sentiment, and confidential orders have been issued to officers of Shanghai volunteer corps of the International Settlement to bo ready for emergency mobilisation.
