SEVEN-A SILK TOURNEY. The Ross Football Club’s seven-a-side tourney took jdaee at Ross on Saturday afternoon seven teams taking part, two from Ross, two from Kiimara, and one each from the Riinit, Excelsior und Kiwi Clubs. Riinit and Kumara A. fought out the linal. the Kumara team winning hy Hi to A. The winners ran over the Rimuit-es in the first spell. Tin* Hokitika primary school team were unsuccessful on .Saturday in their match against Westport school lor the Newman Shield, losing ty II to nil.
