MONSTER DEPUTATION

GOING TO WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, October 4

A monster deputation from Marlborough and a smaller one from Buller, will be brought to Wellington by a special steamer on Wednesday morning to place before the Government the. case for the completion of the South Island Main Trunk railway and the Westport-Inangahua Railway. It is expected that more than 40Q will take part in the expedition. A special train will leave Wharamii at four o’clock in the morning, gathering passengers en - route. By the time the train reaches the ship’s side nt Picton, it is expected that nearly 409' will be aboard.
