LABOR MEETING
BROKE UP BY COMMUNISTS. (By Telegraph—Per Press A ssociation) WELLINGTON, October 3. Communists broke up a meeting of relief worers held at Trades Hall la-t night to consider a policy and constitution agreed upon the previous evening by delegates representing 1820 men. P. M. Butler, Secretary of the General Labourers’ Pnion outlined the proposals, which he said aimed at the establishment of an organisation to protect the interests of all those engaged in relief works. A motion that the organisation be known as Relief Markers’ Section ol the General Labourers’ L nion was lost on a show of hands. Communists then proceeded f<> address the meeting which was adjourned by the Chairman, after repeated appeals for order had proved unsuccessful.
