FRANCE’S GOLD
A NEW RECORD. (United Press Association. —By Electric "V Telegraph.—Copyright.) PARIS, October I. Another record has been reached tvithj the gold reserves in the Bank of France, which now .totals 474 million sterling at par. The total shows o\ei six millions of an increase in the past week, apart from the recent aerial shipments of gold to Paris. Meanwhile the cost of living m France is rising steadily with the accumulation of gold.
