OBITUARY

The death is reported from Masterton of All's Iva.t-e Orr, at the age of 47 years, a daughter of Air Mitchell Rvan of Rotomanu. The deceased was a native of Matai, and leaves a husband and family of five sons and one daughter. The death took place at Murchison on Tuesday, of Mr George AVvllie, one of the most respected residents of that district. The deceased was a

native of Ayrshire, Scotland, and 64 years of age. He arrived in the Dominion in 1907 and two years later took jip his residence in Upper Buffer Valley, and later settled in Murchison, where be has resided, since. He had been ailing for about three years. The late Air AVyllie is survived by a widow.

Airs Catherine King, 87 years, of age, passed away on Wednesday morn-, ing at the residence of her daughter, Airs J. Watt, of Brougham Street, Westport. Deceased was a native of Hampstead Heath, England, and had resided in the Dominion fori 65 years. She leaves a grown up family of five daughters and on© son, Edward King (Auckland), Airs Lanini, Knmnra : Airs Lines,. AVaiuta; Airs Tinetti, AVaimangaroa, and Airs J. AVatt, AVestport.

The dealit occurred at her residence, Dillmanstown, yesterday of Airs Ellen Murphy, one of the oldest residents of the Kumara district, The late Airs Murphy, who was pre-deceas-ed by her husband exactly three years ago, was a native of Tipperary, Ireland, but had for the last fifty years resided at Dillmanstown. She is survived by one son Joseph, of Dillmanstown, and:three daughters, Alesdames Addison, arid Rooney, Grey-' mouth, and Kenna, Albert Street, Auckland. »
