ARAHURA STOCK SALE. The fortnightly fixture at the above, yards held on Monday was attended by Butchers from most Coast towns and forecasted the' fact that local supplies were at an end and the yards would now be depended upon for, requirements. As usual at this time of the year prices were firm and the rise on Monday represented about 3s per hundred or from 20s to 25s per head. Primest ox beef made to 33s 6d. A feature of the sale was the spirited bidding for the runners penned by Perry and Co. a very prime lot which made as high as 38s per hundred. The total yarding of cattle' comprised 65 head while there was no sheep forward. W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows: 2 cows at £6 10s, 2 at £6 12s 6d, 1 at £7 10s, 2 at £lO ss, ,2 blks. at £lO, 2 at £l3 15s, 1 at £i3 12s 6d, 4 at £l3 ss, 4 at £9 7>s 6d, 2 at £l2, 2 at £ll 7s Gd, 1 at £l2 2s 6d, 2 runners at £6 12« Gd, 2 at £4 17s 6d, 2 at £4 10s, 1 at £4 7s'Gd, 2 at £2 12s Gd, 1 blk. at £lO, 4 at £lO 10s.
