At the above sale on Monday there was a much larger attendance of buyers, with th e result that competition was good throughout the sale, and prices realised were much firmer than those of. previous sales. Medium ox beef sold up to 36s per hundred, prime heavy to 32s and heifer beef from 30s to 345. M. Houston and Co sold as follows: On account of Mir W. F. Diedriohs, 1 bullock at £l4 2s 6d, 2 at £9 17s bd, 2 at £lO 7s 6d, 1 at £lO 17s 6d, 1 at £lO 10s, 1 at £lO 17s 6d. On account of Mr W. Ritchie, 1 cow at £8 17s 6d, 1 at £4 17s 6d, 3 at £3,
