A BANKRUPT ESTATE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 29. A deficiency of £4104 was disclosed when the creditors of William Alliert Stapleton, of Tatters.nl Is Hotel met. The S nm of £2400 was owing to unsecured creditors ,and £3539 to secured. The bankrupt blamed the progressive decline in the takings, and lately had considerable difficulty in paying the rent. The rental of the hotel was £177 a month. The affairs were left in the hands of a small committee.
