AFTER 53 YEARS. FRENCH MINISTER'S VISIT. [United Press Association—By Electria Telegraph.—-Copyright.] (Received this day at 11.15 a.m.) BERLIN, September 28. Making the first official French visit since the Congress at Berlin in 1878, M. Laval and M. Briand arrived and were cordially welcomed by a huge crowd. M. Laval issued a statement ito newspaper men, declaring the mprecedented economic crisis had alarmed the world and emphasising the need of Franco-German co-operation. He pointed out the necessity tor immediate action to establish a Franco-Ger-man committee to examine economic questions, interesting both. Hitler warned his followers not to allow themselves to be enticed to < monstrations against the French Ministers by .agents provocateurs. Such actions would only provide France, with pretexts for political demands ohieflv directed against Nazis.
