LOPAZ (Bolivia), September 26.

War in the western hemisphere is reported to-night, between Bolivian and Paraguayan troops, in-, the disputed frontier zone of the Gran Chaco region-

Six Paraguarans are reported to have been killed and many to have been wounded. The Bolivian casualties are not reported. This battle is one of a- series of incidents that have been agitating the two countries for fifty years in pressing their rival claims'for the rich unexplored territory lying along their borders. . , • ■ . - • ■■
