dIR TRUBY KING’S HOME AT SYDNEY. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, September 17. Sir Truby King, New Zealand’s famous baby welfare specialist, who returned to the Dominion this week, will not remain away, for any length of time, as he is great.y interested the activities he has commenced in Sydney. During big many visits to Sydney, Sir Truby King lives quiet v and unobtrusively, and is assisted in his work by Iris daughter, a secretary and his factory staff. A lew years ago he was given to speaking freely about Ill’s work; but the value of his work new seems to be fully realised, so be goes on bis silent way increasing the output of baby food from his factory as the demand for i't grows. Sir Truby King’s factory in Red fern has been operating now for about two years, and lie has sot up his home alongside it. It is only a tiny twostorey cottage that lie occupies, with four small rooms; 'hilt lie maintains that it is sufficient for bis purpose. The rooms are furnished comfortably but not luxuriously and Sir Truby allows himself only the bare necessities ol Tfe. Jt is said that lie will make his permanent home in Sydney, and that he lias no desire to live anywhere lint in the small blue and white house in Redfern. Sir Truby malms no profit from the factory, and all the money■ derived from the factory reverts to the fa to y and the Karitane Hospital.
