Won by two lengths; a head. Time 1.29. PHAR LAP. SYDNEY, September 22. A “wait and see” policy is being adopted by Phar Lap’s owners. There is no certainty that the champion will take part in either of the two cups. A decision will not be reached until after the Sydney Spring Carnival. Phar Lap is heavily weighted in both Cups, and may have to concede over three stone to some smart three-year-old which comes to the forefront. Therefore Phar Lap’s owners think it better to wait a while and watch developments.
