On a charge of being on licensed premises (Masonic Hotel) an offender was ordered to pay costs 10s. Three young men on a similar charge (Post Office Hotel). One was fined 20s and costs 12s and the others ordered to pay costs 10s and 12s respectively.
One resident (Red Lion Hotel) on a simi.ar -charge was. ordered to pay costs 10s.
Two residents (Railway Hotel) similar charges. One ,to pay 40s and costs 10s, the other 20s and cost s 10s.
BOROUGH BYE-LAWS. Borough Inspector, W. E. Gaylor (Mr Park) v. M. Moynihan, a charge of allowing a horse to wander. Fined os and costs 20s 6d. t ■ - Same v, T. Staines senr., a wandering horse. Fined os and cost s 20s 6d, Same v. E. Keegan, a charge of driving a motor car to the danger of tfie public, Fined 3s and costa 20ft fld. Same v. J. In an application for a maintenance order payment, the deiendant, H. Turnbull applied for variation of the order to 5s per week. His Worship granted the application..
