LEADS TO UNREST. (British Official Wireless.) (Received this day at 1.5 p-rn.’. RUGBY, September 15. An official Admiralty statement issued this, afternoon says the Senior Officer of the Atlantic Fleet reported that the promulgation of reduced rates in naval pay led to unrest among a- proportion of lower ratings. Sir John Michael Hodges, who is recovering from severe pleurisy. The fleet, which is now off Invergorden for exercises due to begin on Sept. 22, (includes the Rodney, Nelson, WarspiteV Malaya, Valiant, Hood; Repulse Dovset-shire and Norfolk. Examples of reductions which become operative on October Ist., include Chief Petty Officers from 8s 6d to 7s Gd daily, leading seamen: os ,4d to 4s 4d, able seaman 4s to 3s,;'..ordinary seamen 2s 9d to 2s. ; . : ’
