CRICKETERS. . f ■' With the tour of the New Zealand cricket team in England completed, it could not be considered an overstatement to say that a greater measure of success has'been achieved than was expected when our players left for the Old Country. What is perhaps of greater importance than success from the point of matches won, is that our p’ayers should have gained a reputation for the highest type of sportsmanship, and judging by the flattering comments in English newspapers they have won the admiration of the sport-loving people of the Old Country. —Christchurch ' Times.
