WRESTLING AND Cl VIC THEATRE. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 16. The City Council next Monday night will discuss the question of leasing the Civic Theatre for future wrestling bouts. Two or three councillors are objecting to. the tactics employed in this sport. Meanwhile the bouts arranged for Monday will proceed.
MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY. WELLINGTON, September 15. Lord Bledisloe has sent the following message to the Governor of British Honduras: —On behalf of New Zealand, I, desire to convey to you profound sympathy ~with the people of British Honduras, and especially those who have suffered bereavement, injury and material damage from the recent disastrous hurricane.
