“ONCE A SINNER.” Writing an original story for the acfeen and then following it by writing tljo sceen play, _ continufity and dialogue constitutes whafi might well be called a man size job. George Middleton, Fox Studio, executive, and successful stage playwright, accojhplished; all of that, in “Once A Bikngr,” a Fox movietone production directedj'hy Guthrie McClintic and Mackaill as a girl Who 'twig o&e false step, regretted it and especially .when she met and married a young chap who was the first love of her life. Hdw Fate continually threw her past in her path and how she finally, lived jit down is the theme of the tremendous and daring drama which serves to revive the age old argument as to the dead embers not staying dead.
In addition to Miss Mackaill the supporting cast is of excellent timber ? including as it does such recognised stars of stage and screen as Joel McCfea, John Halliday and C. Henry Gordon.
“Once A Sinner” will be the feature of the programme at the Princess Theatre to-night (Tuesday). Good supports. Prices 2/6, 1/6, children 6d.
