LAWN TENNIS
HOKITIKA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Hokitika Lawn Tennis Club was held last evening, there being a large attendance of members. . . Considerable business was dealt with including incorporation of the Club uli* der Statutary provisions. Five hew members were elected to fill vacancies in the men’s membership hut as no vacancies existed, no new lady mem* bers.were elected. The election of officers resulted as follows: — President: Mr C. H. Cutbrey. Vice-President: Mr H. F. Cooke. Club Captain: Mr P. Dougherty. Secretary: Mr A. E. Dawson. Assistant Secretary: 'Mr L. R. Larconibe. Auditor: Mr H. F. Cooke. Opening day was fixed for October 3rd and an invitation extended to all Clubs and players to be present.
