OKARITO DREDGE. The return from the Okarito Five Mile Beach Dredging Company for the past week was 63 ounces of gold for 123 hours work. ALEXANDER MINE. EEE'FTON, September 8. The following is the mining return from the Alexander Mine for August: The battery crushed 258 tons of ore for a gold return of 1430 z lldwt of melted gold. The cyanide plant ed 156 tons’ af sand for a return of 60oz lldwt of gold. The total estimated value, including the premium on the sale of gold is £B3O. .
