B LACK BALL MIN E RS. GHEYMOUTH, September S. The Blackball Miners’ Union met this morning; to consider the proposa’s for the r. sumption of work. The proposals were the outcome of a weekend conference between the nvner’s representatives and the Compnnys representative and Labour 'nspoctor. The Union to-day rejected the offer of the Company to place twenty men immediately on certain conditions a s the Union are desirous .of selecting the men and sharing work. A delegation was appointed to submit the Union’s proposals to the Company.
