Consideration of the 1 Government’s Broadcasting Bill was given at a spec- ',;.,: ial meeting of the. i Executive of the .(5 Wellington Branoh of the New Zealand Listeners’ League, when the following resolution was adopted:—YThat as the Government measure, is based on the same lines as those of the British Broadcasting Co-operation. 1 and as the matured experience in Britain under the system has been found to W most acceptable to the listeners there, this meeting gives its approval to the -1. "Bill now before the House.”
