The picture, “The Big Trail,”, will be shown, at the Princess Theatre tonight.,: and Thursday. Walsh led a company of p 75 including players, technical men and miscellaneous general help, over a route of 4,300 miles, passing through seven States and requiring more than four months. Walsh’s purpose was to. piqturi.se a mightly s,urging w-gye. of, humanity coming from the .East into, the West. The romance, sorrow, comedy, hoph, danger and incredible adventure which attended file westward march diave all beep, given, appropriate place in the story which was written, by Hal Gf. -Evarts, noted author and authority on the west. Interwoven with. the drama is a compelling youthful romance with John Wayne, and Marguerite Churchill as sweethearts. There are 93 speaking parts, filled by ,an ■ impressive list ol players. Heading the cast besides Wayne and Miss Churchill ? are El Bremlel, Tuljy Marshal, Tyrone Power, David Rollins, Frederick Burton, Louise Chrver, and Marcis Harris. Among them were 725 Indians, repre 7 seating .five, tribes,. Arapiioe, Crow, Styosjiope, Cheyenne and Blackfoot.
