FLOOD DISASTER
QUARTER MILLION LOSS. (British Official Wireless.) ADELAIDE, August 30. The Murray River floods in the Mypolonga and Maiinum area are believed to have passed their peak. The flooded settlements affected comprise 117 dairy farms. A conservative estimate ol’ tne losses places the total at over a quarter of million sterling^as each ol the farms’ carping power has decreased by at least two thousand pounds.
