(Australian Press Association.,) AUCKLAND, August 29. The Dominion cross-country championship over 6i miles, was held in fine weather to-day, and was won by J. W. Savidan (Auckland) in 35 minutes 51 secs. 'N. F. Cooper (Auckland) was second, and H. Johnson (Otago) third. Otago won the teams’ race. SYDNEY, August 30. The fifty kilometer walking championship of New South Wales was won by G. A. Smith, of New South Wales, in five hours seven minutes two seconds. W. J. Clark, of Randwick, with 5 hours 23 minutes 25,.seconds, was second. C. W. Gregg, the Queensland walking champ’on, with 5 hours 31 minutes 26 seconds was third. Seven competed. A strong wind hampered the men. ADELAIDE, August 29. J. Buckley, of New South Wales, won the hundred miles senior road cycle championship of South Australia in 5 hours 7 minutes 59 seconds. Gould of Marrickbille, Sydney, with 5 hours II minutes 10 seconds, was second, and Herrarnan (South Australia), with 5 hours 20 minutes 47 seconds was third.
